Recruitment Advertising (Television & Radio)


As part of our first recruitment campaign in 2007, we created a series of radio ads targeted at both high school students and their parents. We even used actual high school students, recruited locally, as voice talent in two of the spots. The next year we created a broader radio campaign aimed not only at high school students but career changers and adult learners as well. For these spots we chose a theme of "Looking For Success."

We also added TV spots to the 2008 campaign. We based the look and messaging on our very successful outdoor campaign. This gave the school a unified look in the market and allowed us to produce three distinctive and unique spots on a minimal budget.

Both radio campaigns received National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) District 2 Medallion Awards (2007 — Silver; 2008 — Gold). As part of the 2008 overall recruitment campaign, the radio and TV won a Silver in the 2008 National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) Paragon Awards (a national competition), and an Award of Distinction in the 15th Annual Communicator Awards (2009), presented by The International Academy of the Visual Arts (an international competition).
