Tallgrass Beef gets a great deal of business through their e-commerce website. Adequate when originally developed, after several years of use it no longer reflected the latest web technologies and the design did not present Tallgrass as a top quality, premium brand. Realizing this, the company asked us to create a new website that would accomplish three primary objectives: First, create a dynamic, user-friendly website that positions Tallgrass Beef as a brand that is at the forefront of the grass-fed beef industry. Second, tell their story to several different audiences—those looking for healthier beef, those with environmental concerns, those with animal welfare concerns, and those simply looking for top quality, delicious grass-fed beef—in ways that are relevant to each group. Third, create an online store that presents their products in an appealing way and in a format that is easy to shop. Our solution was a new site that re-brands Tallgrass Beef with a new logo and look that give the company a more exclusive feel, makes it easy for the different audiences to go directly from the home page to the area of the site that speaks to their individual concerns, and uses state-of-the-art e-commerce technology to make the online store as simple and efficient to shop as possible.
